Ge’ez is a Semitic language of ancient Ethiopia and Eritrea now used only as liturgical language of the Ethiopian and Eritrean Churches. Ge’ez, Amharic, Tigrigna and several other Eritrean and Ethiopian languages are the only languages in Africa that have their own unique alphabet system.
Our graphic Ge’ez Tee is designed using the Ge’ez alpha numerals. The center of the circle the word Ge’ez is written on the middle circle the commonly known as Ge’ez numerals 1-10, 20, 30-100 & 1000 is written and on the top circle the 1st letters of the most commonly used Ge’ez alphabets are written.
